When people ask about me, I struggle to answer simply about who I am. Why I know what I value, and who I am is a summation of my values, experiences, and evolution. To that end, it's easiest to understand my life through four windows of identity.
Since 1988 I have identified as a genderqueer individual. My pronouns are They/Them. I have been in multiple long-term committed relationships and I am currently married to a high school teacher.
Since the 1970s I have had episodes of panic disorder. In 1990 I was hospitalized and diagnosed with OCD. Decades of early development trauma lead me to identify my autism and ADHD in the 2010s.
I am in a symbolic mindful relationship with all the tools and technology in my life. They act as an extension of my values to extend my humanity beyond my physical and mental capacity.
